Math 30, 2008 : Did a bunch
May 8th, 2008 : Added a link to The Matthew Sheppard Foundation and the Harvey Milk [San Francisco] City Hall Memorial page.
Umm . . . I don't know if anyone's heard of or remembers Matthew Sheppard. But I was eleven and struggling with my sexuality when he was killed on October 12th, 1998. I realized today that I probably feel about Matthew Sheppard the way people feel about Harvey Milk. None of the youngin's really know about either of them, so I posted some videos and stuff on my blog about them.
April 22nd, 2008 : Added 9 poems to the Poetry Section.
I added, Filthy Mouths; I Thought; Of a Dream; Time Eases All; Untitled 8; Untouchable; When I Leave, I Hope My Light Burns the Brightest; and You're So Bold. All written in 2008.
April 21st, 2008 : Added the Donate Section.
I wanted to give more information about why I'm asking for donations and what I'll be doing with the money. It's only fair.
April 21st, 2008 : Re-organized the Poetry Section alphabetically, by year.
I noticed that I had close to 200 poems in the Poetry Section. I had them all listed in chronological by a numbered list, but that was growing too large. So, in an attempt to give things a sense of order, I went through my files files and rearranged all my poems by years. Some of the stuff in the 2002 section is from as early as 1999, but I'm not on my old computer and didn't feel like dragging it up here to check the creation dates on all the files. Enjoy the new sense of order.
April 16th, 2008 : Check out "ZOMBIE: The Incident at Bloody Rock". Now available in the Novels section!
This is a 67 page story about the cure for AIDS turning people in zombies. It's written from the first person perspective of Kenny, who came to see his little brother. But things start getting weird, and Kenny finds himself in a chidlren's hopsital full of zombies. This is the first of a three part book I'm working on.
April 16th, 2008 : The "What's New?" section has been added to Lonely Ocean.
I figured that some people only look at my blog, and some people only look at my site. So I made this section to tell you what's new with the site. I'll add the date and a description of things like new poems, stories, chapters and galleries. Also, I added a "donate" button to the bottom of every chapter, story, poem and gallery. I tried to make it as discrete as possible to avoid the appearance of "begging". Donations you send will be used to help me print 'zines (for sale on this site soon!) and send out self-addressed, stamped envelops and manuscripts to literary agents.
