It’s Like Falling Out of the Sky (Like a Rain Drop)
Gabriel Duncan

It’s like falling out of the sky
Like a rain drop
Splattering upon the ground below
Forced into the microscopic canyons and caverns
That permeate the concrete

Crushed like elphants under Jupiter
Like a tin can under your foot
Chattering downwards,
Collapsing into a broken acordian
Whining and sighing in every key

It’s dumb like not knowing
Like pretending to know
So dumb you go searching
For the secret of how
To go against the flow
