I used to live in such a simple world
Where everything was black and white
But now it’s changing
And nothing will ever be the same

When I look at you
I know I’m home
But when I’m out alone
I begin to wander

I used to know just who I was
Where I stood inside myself
But now I’m lost
And I don’t know if I can find my way

Can I wander back to this?

I used to believe in stasis
Permanent identities
But now I see it’s obsolete
The whole argument is meaningless

I tried to stay
As hard as I could
But skin is only superficial
I’ve found my tastes desultory

It's your eyes that entrance me
Your smile
That lights the darkest of moods
The very soul of what love is

It’s you
You’re the only one I want
Not a body
Or an idea
