Changing Perspectives
Gabriel Duncan

The rain trickles down my face
Intertwinning with the hair of my eyebrows
Through my eybrows
Into my eyelashes
Past my eye
Along my nose
Down to my lips
And when I taste it
I taste salt
From the ocean
In front of me
The spray of salt water intoxicates me
It screams at me
I notice it as much as I notice a cold day
The rain
A train
A plane
You
Your taste intermixs with it all
Your pictures
How I imagine you to be right now
In, infront of, under and beside the sea
You
In the clouds
As the rain
The train the plane
Me
My eyebrows, my eyelashes, eye, nose, lips
Your taste is my taste
And in this moment
I a m y o u
