You're probably wondering why I have a donation page here.
Seriously; just imagine you were walking down the street and stopped by a vendor. Someone selling orignal pictures, poetry and stories. Or imagine I came to an event and told you a story, or read you some poetry. Or imagine my galleries are on the wall of your local art center. Maybe you've noticed the "DONATE" button at the bottom of a poem or story. You don't have to donate. It would be a nice thing to do, like tipping. This is the closest I come to advertsising. It's kind of like what Radiohead did with their album "In Rainbows".
What happens to your money: It goes into a paypal account. I use it to to buy stamps, to make copies of manuscripts to send to agents, contests and other publishing agencies. I use it to purchase paper and card stock to create the 'zines that I sell at my shows. (Which should be appearing here for sale soon, too.) Sometimes I use it to buy pens or writing tablets, or film, or lenses or batteries. There are other expenses. But they are all art-related.
Donations can be made in any amount, with any currency, as long as they are made as a gift of love and affection, appreciation; and with no anticipation of anything in return other than more creative work filling the pages of this website and your ears. Paypal is safe and easy to use. There is no way your bank information can be used in any other way than the one you intend. No pressure.
